In October 2003, in the Etruscan necropolis of Pianacce, in Sarteano, a tomb came to light with an extraordinary pictorial cycle in excellent condition, datable in the second half of the fourth century. b.C ..The monumental tomb is excavated in the local travertine, on the left wall of the room with a large three-headed snake and finally on the pediment of the back wall, always on the left, with a hippocampus.
